Free Prize Draw (July '23) Terms and Conditions

1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.

2. The prize draw is being run by Softener Salts Ltd, Unit 5, Manor Farm, Down Ampney, Cirencester GL7 5QF

3.Softener Salts Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

Eligibility to enter

4. The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age who live in the UK (Softener Salts Ltd staff members are excluded from the draw).

5. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Softener Salts Ltd may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw or competition.

6. Only one entry per individual is permitted.

7. Softener Salts Ltd reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw or competition.

How to enter

8. The prize draw is open to all new and existing customers up to Midday on 31st July 2023. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw.

10. Softener Salts Ltd will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

The prize

11. The prize will be one Infinity T4 non electric, block salt water softener, the prize does not include installation, by-pass valves or connecting pipework.

12. Softener Salts Ltd take no responsibility for the compatibility of the system with the winners property.

13. The winner will be drawn at random.

14. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

15. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

16. The decision of Softener Salts Ltd regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner announcement

17. The winner will be notified after 4th August 2023 via the email provided during subscription.

18. Softener Salts Ltd will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.

19. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and Softener Salts Ltd reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.

Receipt of the prize

20. The prize can be collected from Softener Salts Ltd, Unit 5, Manor Farm, Down Ampney, Cirencester GL7 5QF or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement.

Installation

21.If the prize winner is within the normal working area for Softener Salts Ltd a quote for the installation of the prize can be obtained.

Data protection and publicity

22. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Softener Salts Ltd for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.

23. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at info@softenersalts.co.uk

24. The winner agrees to the release of their first name and town/village of residence to any other prize draw participants if requested via Softener Salts Ltd.

25. An announcement of the winner’s full name and town/village of residence will be made on Softener Salts Ltd social media and web site.

26. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Softener Salts Ltd Privacy Notice.

Limitation of Liability

27. Softener Salts Ltd will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Softener Salts Ltd, or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

28. Softener Salts Ltd does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize. Warranty will be a subject to the prize being installed correctly and on “return to base” basis (at winners expense) unless the system is installed by Softener Salts Ltd.

General

29. Softener Salts Ltd reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.

30. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
