Welcome to our new web site and blog, here we will keep you to date with all the products we stock, pricing and new products that we will be introducing. We will also be posting some tips on how to keep your water softener in tip top condition which will hopefully prolong the life of your machine. Firstly a little bit of information about us and what we have to offer. Softener Salts Ltd is an independent family run business established in December 2017 due to a long established supplier in the area retiring after 39 years of trading. We, like them offer premium water softener salts at very competitive prices and offer a service we hope people want to use time and time again. We are conveniently located just three miles south of Cirencester and eight miles north of Swindon, half a mile off the A419 near Down Ampney. This allows us to easily service The Cotswolds, & North Wiltshire offering both collections and delivery.

Cheap wont always save you money

People invest a lot of money in purchasing a water softener and then some make the mistake of thinking that cheap salt will save them money. In the image above you can compare cheap block salt on the left against Kinetico block salt on the right. I know which one I would rather put into my machine. Dissolving the cheap salt block into a water softeners brine well has resulted in a sand residue being left over this contributing to the premature death of the block salt softener it was put into. So the hard lesson learnt by the customer was buy a quality product that you can rely on. Good quality salt will help extend the life of your investment avoiding costly repair bills or the need for a complete replacment.
